Operation Homeless is a nonprofit based out of Indianapolis. Since launching in 2012, we have provided hundreds of care packages and warm clothing to the homeless community, during the cold holiday season. Each year, we have a group of high school and college students who volunteer to travel downtown to distribute these care packages. Our generous donors have provided us the means to supply the homeless with care packages containing items such as backpacks, water, juice, nonperishable food, wipes, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, blankets, hats, gloves, coats, socks, tissues, chapstick, cough drops and Subway gift cards. Operation Homeless started from a simple idea and now we are making a huge difference in the community.
